This initiative, scheduled from April 9 to April 27, will have a total duration of 20 hours. Mayor Idafe Hernández highlighted the importance of expanding training options for citizens and boosting the artisan sector in the locality.
“"These initiatives are vital to give value to local artisans and bring citizens closer to a sector with great cultural and economic importance in our municipality."
For her part, the Councillor for Crafts and Training, Concepción Triana, emphasized that investing in artisan trade training not only stimulates creativity but also strengthens cultural identity and supports local economic development. According to Triana, these courses contribute to the preservation and dissemination of the municipality's artisanal traditions.
The training will be given by the local artisan Silvia Abrante Concepción. Classes will take place on Mondays and Thursdays, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, in the craft classroom located in the Municipal Market.
The activity is free, and priority will be given to residents registered in Villa de Mazo. Interested individuals can obtain more information by contacting the Crafts department, calling 922 440 003 (extension 205), or sending an email to artesanía@villademazo.es.
