The ceremony took place at the La Geria auditorium of the Barceló Playa Blanca Hotel, located in the municipality of Yaiza. The event brought together students, families, and faculty to bid farewell to a key educational stage, highlighting the special significance of commemorating the school's four decades.
A total of 38 students, belonging to the XXIX promotion of the National Baccalaureate and the XV of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, participated in this significant event.
During the event, the class representatives shared their experiences and learning. Their speeches offered a close perspective of their academic journey, emphasizing the importance of camaraderie and the support received from the teaching staff.
“"The event was presided over by the president of the Arenas, Arenas Atlántico, and Arenas Internacional schools, accompanied by the general director of the center and the academic director. During their speeches, the school officials highlighted the students' efforts and the role of education in their personal and academic development."
The godmother of the event, a former student and parent at the school, delivered a speech that emphasized the connection between generations and the role of education not only in acquiring knowledge but also in fostering values. Her testimony reflected the institution's evolution over the years and the emotional bond it maintains with the educational community.
The San Ginés Polyphonic Choir provided music for the event, and an audiovisual presentation with images of the students' time at the school was shown, adding an emotional touch to the celebration. The closing of the event was led by the president of the Arenas schools, who brought the ceremony to a close, symbolizing the end of one stage and the beginning of new paths for the graduates.
