A man sustained moderate injuries on Monday morning following a collision between a car and a truck on the LZ-34 road, in the municipality of San Bartolomé, Lanzarote.

The incident occurred at 08:47 AM on August 3, 2026. The Emergency and Safety Coordinating Center (CECOES) 112 of the Canary Islands Government received an alert reporting the accident.
As a result of the impact, a male individual who presented with moderate at the initial stage of assistance was transferred by a medicalized ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
112 immediately activated the necessary emergency resources, including another basic life support ambulance from SUC, personnel from the Consortium of Security, Emergencies, Rescue, Prevention, and Firefighting of Lanzarote, and the Civil Guard.
SUC personnel assessed and assisted the affected individual at the scene before transferring him to the aforementioned hospital. Firefighters secured the damaged vehicle and freed its occupant from the cabin. The Civil Guard proceeded to file the corresponding report.
