The municipality of Agüimes has expanded its dining offerings with the opening of the café ‘The Nevalia Coffee’, situated on Progreso street, near Los Camellos alley. This new venture, spearheaded by entrepreneur Cristina Hernández with her family's support, aims to meet the increasing demand from tourists and residents in the historic center.
During its initial days, the establishment was visited by the mayor of Agüimes, Óscar Hernández, and the Councilor for Economic Development, Cati Suárez. The mayor highlighted that the opening of the venue will contribute to the revitalization of the historic center, serving both the local population and visitors.
Councilor Cati Suárez, in turn, emphasized the job creation associated with the new café and wished the business success, noting the significant potential customer base given the influx of visitors to the historic center.

‘The Nevalia Coffee’ offers breakfast and snacks in a tranquil environment, specializing in crepes, waffles, pancakes, ice cream, milkshakes, and juices at affordable prices. The owner stresses the quality of the coffee and the pleasant service provided by the staff, aiming for customer satisfaction.
