Arona is finalizing preparations for its Main Festivities, which will take place from September 25 to October 7 in honor of Santísimo Cristo de la Salud and Nuestra Señora del Rosario, combining tradition, music, and activities for the whole family.

The celebrations, organized by the Fiestas Department, will begin on Friday, September 25, with the traditional ringing of bells and a shower of fireworks. On the same day, the opening speech and the presentation of the candidates for Queen of the Main Festivities will take place.
The musical program will feature notable performances by Edwin Rivera, Falete, and Shaila Dúrcal, in addition to dance nights with orchestras. The grand galas for the election of the Queen for Childhood, the Municipal Queen for Seniors, and the Queen of the Main Festivities of Arona will be central events.
Activities for children and families are included, along with a Comedy Night featuring Jorge Ávila and Kike Pérez, sports events, and a new edition of ‘Arona en Tradiciones’, which will bring together gastronomy, crafts, music, and traditional games in the town center.
Religious acts will also hold a prominent place, especially on October 4 and 5, in honor of Nuestra Señora del Rosario and Santísimo Cristo de la Salud, Perpetual Mayor of Arona. The festivities will conclude on October 7 after nearly two weeks of activities.
