A house fire in Puerto del Carmen, Tías, Lanzarote, during the early hours of Monday, caused significant material damage, but fortunately, there were no casualties.

The incident occurred at Salinas Street number 11, in Puerto del Carmen, and required the swift intervention of the Security and Emergency Consortium. The alert was received at 01:34 AM, activating a level 2 operation involving personnel from the Central and South parks, mobilizing resources Bravo 5, Bravo 10, and Bravo 2.
According to sources from the Consortium, it was confirmed during the journey to the scene that no one was inside the dwelling. Upon arrival, firefighters verified that the fire was active, necessitating the deployment of an intensive extinguishing operation.
Once the fire was brought under control, emergency personnel proceeded to secure the property by disconnecting the electrical fuse. During the inspection, an electric scooter affected by the flames was found, removed, and transported to the Central Park for further analysis.
After extinguishing efforts were completed, firefighters accompanied the tenant inside the property to retrieve some personal belongings. Subsequently, the apartment was cordoned off as a safety measure. The service concluded with no personal injuries reported, although the house sustained severe damage from the fire.
