Lanzarote Shines at GastroCanarias with its Star Products

Lanzarote and La Graciosa are participating in the 2026 edition of the GastroCanarias Show, highlighting their gastronomic potential with a program of activities including showcookings and tastings of local products.

Under the Saborea Lanzarote brand, the island has designed a program of activities for the GastroCanarias 2026 Show, featuring showcookings, workshops, and tastings of local products, wines, and craft beers. The aim is to showcase the current moment of Lanzarote's gastronomy, a result of the work of its producers, chefs, and winemakers.
The president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, expressed his pride in the participation, emphasizing the sector's creativity and commitment. Meanwhile, the Minister of Economic Promotion, Nori Machín, highlighted the diversity and quality of the island's gastronomy, which combines tradition and innovation with zero-kilometer products.
The 'Saborea Lanzarote' Classroom will offer a daily program with culinary demonstrations by renowned chefs and pastry chefs such as Dailos Perdomo, Adelia Ramírez, Germán Blanco, Jéssica Morales, David Brito, Begoña Frahija, Susanna Crepaldi, Ayoze Luis, Orlando Ortega, Enrique Martín, Jon Pérez, and Julieta Bicker, as well as collectives and leading brands like AQUAL, ACLAN, craft beers, and island wineries.
Visitors will be able to enjoy emblematic products such as prawns and langoustines from La Santa, bigeye tuna, jable sweet potatoes, local cheeses, jams, shortbreads, and Lanzarote vermouth. Traditional performances by Los del Gofio Arráez will also be presented.
On Tuesday, May 19th, a tribute will be held for the 50th Anniversary of the Castillo de San José, titled 'Gastronomy and Art'. During the following days, the stand will offer tastings of sweet cuisine, including chocolates and liqueurs, as well as traditional products like gofio, potatoes, sweet potatoes, mojos, tomatoes, and oils.
