A 17-year-old youth has been hospitalized with moderate stab wounds in Teguise, Lanzarote, following an incident early Monday morning.

The incident occurred on Las Palmeras Avenue. According to the Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 112, the alert was received at 05:04 AM, reporting that a young person required medical assistance for stab wounds.
Personnel from the Canary Emergency Medical Service (SUC), the Local Police, and the Civil Guard were dispatched to the scene. The SUC deployed an advanced life support ambulance and a basic life support ambulance to attend to the minor.
Paramedics assessed the youth, who sustained moderate injuries at the time of initial assistance. He was subsequently transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital for medical treatment.
Civil Guard and Local Police officers also attended the location to conduct the necessary inquiries and clarify the exact circumstances of the event.
