The Agaete City Council has initiated the tender process for the comprehensive rehabilitation of its Town Hall, the seat of the municipal government and a historic 19th-century building.

The planned investment for these restoration works amounts to 284,120 euros, with an estimated execution period of six months. The property, historically known as Casa Armas, is an example of the Canarian architecture of the era.
The works will focus on the sanitation and painting of walls, treatment of dampness, restoration of original wooden and stone carpentry and flooring, as well as cleaning of stone elements. The outdated electrical installation will also be updated, along with the renovation of bathrooms.
The Council's objective is to restore the building to a unified appearance, as close as possible to its original state, while integrating the necessary adaptations for its current use. The Town Hall is a point of interest for tourists visiting Agaete, offering a tour of the historic heritage of the fishing town.
