The town of Moya once again became the epicenter of trail running in Gran Canaria with the celebration of the 14th Circular Extrema Villa de Moya. This edition was marked by strong winds and the presence of haze, conditions that, however, did not diminish the enthusiasm of participants, organizers, and the public.
Runners demonstrated remarkable endurance and passion for outdoor sports, delivering a great spectacle across the various courses. In the main race, the top three male finishers were José Antonio Hernández, Samuel Santana, and Javier Moreno, with the latter being a native of Moya. In the women's category, the podium consisted of Tatiana Cruz, Ana Ormaetxea, and Silvia María Caso.
The Half Circular saw Ayose Pérez claim victory, followed by Oliver Zerpa and Yonathan Díaz. In the women's category for this distance, the fastest were Ana Gil, Luna Perdomo, and Saray Batista. The Mini Circular, a 12-kilometer route, also provided great moments, with Juan Alberto Benítez, Octavio León, and Pablo Ramos taking the top male positions, while Raquel Padilla, Sandra López, and Samanta Vega excelled in the female category. Additionally, hikers enjoyed a medium-difficulty route that explored some of the municipality's most emblematic landscapes, from the town center to the coast.

"We faced the added challenge of the haze, but the participants' response was exemplary. We can only thank them for their effort, as well as the work of the entire human team that makes it possible for this event to continue growing year after year."
