A total of sixty people joined the traditional walk to Cruz de Grimón in Gáldar this Sunday, an activity that is part of the Active Aging project and promoted by the Department of Senior Policy.

The route, which started early in the morning from the Club del Mayor Santiago de Los Caballeros, brought together participants for a journey of approximately five kilometers. The organization reported that the walk was completed in about an hour.
Upon arrival at Cruz de Grimón, walkers were greeted by the mayor of Gáldar. As is customary, the cross was adorned with flowers by local residents, a gesture that underscores the devotion and deep cultural roots of this annual event. Other pilgrims also joined in the vicinity of the enclave for the day.
