The project covered an area of 3,500 square meters and has increased the number of parking spaces to 51, ten more than before the intervention. This improvement is crucial for access to the natural pool and the future La Guancha Interpretation Center, scheduled to open next Monday, May 18.
The works are part of a broader road surface rehabilitation project in various municipal streets, with a total investment of half a million euros. This funding comes entirely from the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, through the Cooperation Plan, and the execution was awarded to the company Conasfal.
The plan, managed by the Department of Urban Planning, has already benefited other areas such as Nido Cuervo, Sardina, San Isidro, El Roque, and Barrial. Soon, the works will continue with the asphalting of Avenida Antonio Rosas, also in Sardina.
