Classes will take place from Monday to Friday, between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM, depending on the different subjects, levels, and groups established for this new course. Continuing students will generally maintain their previous year's schedules, except for requested changes. New admissions who have already completed their enrollment are being directly contacted by their instrument instructors to confirm schedules and place availability.
The school keeps the enrollment process open for those who wish to join. Applications can be submitted through the Electronic Headquarters of the Gáldar City Council, in the procedures section, under the process titled ‘Inscripción de nuevos alumnos en la Escuela Municipal de Música’ (Enrollment of new students in the Municipal Music School). Places will be assigned based on the registration order and existing availability in different specialties and subjects.
Those interested in learning about an instrument, trying it before enrolling, or receiving information in person can visit the 'Pedro Espinosa' Municipal Music School at the Casa de la Juventud, from Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, starting September 14th.
During the 2026/2027 academic year, the Municipal Music School will offer instrumental, vocal, and theoretical training, with a wide variety of specialties: Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute, Oboe, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, Percussion, Piano, Guitar, Violin, and Singing. The program is complemented by Music and Movement, aimed at children aged 3 to 6; Music Theory, Music Theory for Adults, Musical Analysis, and Harmony, as well as various ensembles and collective teachings such as Combo, Children's Choir, Adult Choir, and Band.
With the start of this new course, the ‘Pedro Espinosa’ Municipal Music School continues its work of musical training and dissemination in Gáldar, facilitating access to music education for people of different ages and levels, and fostering collective musical practice.
