The Gáldar City Council has launched the procedure for granting social emergency aid, funded through a collaboration agreement with the Cabildo de Gran Canaria.

These grants are intended to cover basic needs for citizens, including food expenses, housing, and the payment of essential utilities such as water and electricity.
To access these benefits, applicants must be registered and reside in the municipality of Gáldar, be over 18 years old, and demonstrate a lack or insufficiency of economic resources. Eligibility will be determined according to the criteria established by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria.
