The exhibition, organized by the Culture and Festivities department, presents 22 snapshots of influential personalities in the culture, communication, and advocacy for the LGTBIQ+ community throughout the four editions of Gáldar Pride. Each participant contributes a written reflection on their connection to the festival and the fight for collective rights.
Journalists, actresses, municipal employees, drag queens, and transvestites deliver messages of freedom, inclusion, and respect, emphasizing the ongoing need for activism. The exhibition aims to honor the memory of those who paved the way for living without fear and affirm the right to be oneself.
