The Gáldar team capped off their season with this new title, prevailing in a novel round-robin competition format. The match began with a slight lead for Unión Gáldar (5-3), but Cicar Almogarén reacted and managed to turn the score around (8-10).
The performance of Unión Gáldar's top wrestler, Alberto Zamora, was key as he overcame the notable wrestler Néstor Mejías to return the lead to his team (11-10). The exchange of points maintained the balance until 13-13.
The turning point came after the 14-13 score, with points from Moisés «El Pollo de La Milagrosa» and Alejandro Mendoza, and another point by Alberto Zamora which set the score at 16-13. After a break to honor the youth selections, Unión Gáldar extended their lead to a decisive 25-17.
Despite Cicar Almogarén's final effort, the final score was 30-26. The last point was scored by Álvaro Déniz for Cicar Almogarén against Alberto Zamora, following a penalty against the latter.
With this victory, Unión Gáldar Ybarra adds the Piromart Super Cup to the Cabildo de Gran Canaria League and the Torneo Dielca de Lucha Corrida. Cicar Almogarén, champion of the Copa Fundación La Caja de Canarias, once again demonstrated its competitiveness.
