A 44-year-old motorcyclist has been hospitalized in serious condition after a collision with a car on the GC-75 road, near the municipality of Moya, in Gran Canaria, on Friday afternoon.

The incident, which occurred shortly after 5 PM near the Cabo Verde junction, prompted the deployment of emergency services and the Civil Guard.
According to the 112 Emergency and Security Coordinating Center, personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) attended to the injured man at the scene.
The motorcyclist was then transported by a medicalized ambulance to Doctor Negrín Hospital, located in the island's capital, where he was admitted with a diagnosis of severe polytrauma.
Officers from the Civil Guard were present at the accident site to prepare the corresponding report and investigate the circumstances of the collision.
