The Puerto del Rosario City Council has initiated the tender process for the demolition of the old teacher's houses at the CEIP Puerto del Rosario, with a budget of approximately 200,000 euros.

The capital's council aims for the controlled demolition of the building, which is currently disused and in an advanced state of deterioration. The main objective is to utilize the land that will be freed up after the works for educational purposes.
The initiative also includes the management of generated waste and the implementation of health and safety measures to ensure the correct execution of the works.
The maximum execution period for the works has been set at seven weeks, starting from the day after the site survey report is signed. It is anticipated that the awarding of the contract and the commencement of the demolition may coincide with the autumn, possibly during the academic term.
