The Teguise City Council, in collaboration with the Local Police and Public Works department, is removing electric scooters from Costa Teguise for operating without the proper municipal authorization.

The Local Police of Teguise, along with the Public Works department, has intensified the removal of electric scooters in various areas of Costa Teguise. This action was taken after detecting that the exploitation activity of these vehicles was being carried out without the required authorization from the City Council.
These actions are part of the Consistory's efforts to ensure compliance with current local regulations. The goal is to enhance road safety and maintain order and the proper use of public spaces, with a particular focus on areas with high pedestrian traffic and concentration.
The intervention follows an exhaustive monitoring process conducted by the Local Police, which identified the presence of these vehicles on different streets and public spaces within the municipality.
