A 43-year-old man has sustained moderate injuries this Wednesday after his vehicle left the road in the municipality of La Aldea de San Nicolás, Gran Canaria.

The incident occurred around 2:30 PM in the area known as El Albercón. The car veered off the road and fell approximately four meters down an embankment, according to information provided by the 112 emergency service.
Emergency services, including the Canary Islands Emergency Service, the Consortium of Emergencies of Gran Canaria, and local health center personnel, were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, firefighters found the driver already outside the vehicle, meaning a rescue operation was not necessary.
After receiving initial treatment at the local health center, the injured man was transferred to Doctor Negrín Hospital, where he was diagnosed with moderate multiple contusions.
