Asamblea Majorera - Coalición Canaria has submitted a Non-Binding Proposition to the Parliament of the Canary Islands to request the definitive closure of the Pájara Maneuver and Firing Range, located in Fuerteventura, within a period of less than five years.

The nationalists argue that this area is used not only for firing maneuvers but also for ground exercises with armored vehicles, sea-to-land firing, and explosives testing, causing significant impact on the natural environment.
According to the party, closing the Pájara Firing Range is a necessary measure from an environmental, territorial, and socioeconomic perspective, as well as an act of historical reparation.
