Pájara's unemployment drops 9.1% in July, with significant relief for young adults

The municipality of Pájara has registered a notable decrease in unemployment in July, with an overall year-on-year reduction of 9.1%, standing at 599 jobless individuals.

Data from the Canary Employment Observatory (Obecan) reveals that the most significant decrease is observed in the 25 to 44 years old age group, where unemployment has fallen by 21.4%, establishing it as the segment with the best performance.
The July report also shows a reduction in unemployment for both men and women. The male unemployment rate has dropped by 2.7%, while the female rate has seen a 13.3% decrease, with the latter group presenting a more favorable trend.
Regarding educational attainment, the largest drop in unemployment is concentrated among individuals with Primary Education, recording a decrease of 10.8% compared to the same period last year.
