The exhibition proposes an approach to realities usually hidden from plain sight, discovering through macro photography the beauty and uniqueness of the small details that surround us. The exhibition can be visited until October 2nd, from Tuesday to Saturday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Although macro photography is often associated with natural elements like flowers or insects, ‘(Con) Macro’ broadens this perspective. The works explore the possibilities of the technique through letters, bubbles, textures, reflections, everyday objects, geometries, and abstractions, in addition to natural motifs.
This photographic technique allows access to a level of detail that normally escapes human perception, transforming tiny elements into protagonists. The compositions can become abstract, built from lights, blurs, textures, and shapes, advocating for the photographer's essential qualities of vision and patience to discover the hidden beauty in the everyday.
The Agrupación Fotográfica Enfoques Photoart, based in Telde since 2014, currently brings together 25 photographers. The group uses exhibitions as one of its main activities to share experiences and learn together, inviting the public to enjoy the different perspectives offered by macro photography.
