The theatrical performance, written and directed by Magdalena Cáceres, is characterized by its local flavor and presents implausible situations. The plot revolves around a family that, driven by the patriarch, goes to unimaginable lengths to obtain their coveted treasure: a turkey.
The staging was a success, filling not only the main hall of the emblematic southern cultural building but also its courtyard, where numerous spectators followed the performance on a giant screen. The theatre group is composed of residents from Yaiza, who were perfectly characterized to bring their roles to life.
