The Santa Lucía de Tirajana City Council has appointed businessman Antonio Arbelo as the official speaker for the upcoming San Rafael festivities, scheduled from October 16th to November 1st.

The appointment was confirmed following an official meeting with the Mayor, Francisco García, and the Councilor for Festivities, Arminda Santana. The speaker, associated with the Vecindario Business Association (Ascoive), has titled his speech The memories that unite us.
The speech aims to recognize the efforts of those who contribute altruistically to the celebrations and who usually do not take center stage. The speaker noted that the text will consist of five acts and will feature local voices.
Local authorities highlighted the speaker's commitment to innovation and social involvement within the municipality. The Department of Festivities announced that the program will include concerts, children's activities, and events for seniors, aiming to uphold local traditions.
