In response to the adverse meteorological phenomena alert declared by the Government of the Canary Islands, the Santa Lucía de Tirajana City Council has implemented the Municipal Emergency Plan. This measure impacts various activities and public spaces within the municipality.
Through a Mayoral decree issued this Tuesday, September 15, 2026, the suspension of all outdoor sports, cultural, and public social activities has been ordered. The facilities where these events are usually held will be temporarily closed.
The suspension also extends to activities scheduled by the Equality Department at the Harimaguada Center, as well as the Children's City and municipal football fields. According to the decree signed by acting mayor Julio Ojeda, these spaces will reopen once the adverse weather conditions improve.
