The presentation was attended by the mayoress of Ingenio and Councilor for Sports, Vanesa Martín; the club's president, Mario Ramírez; the secretary, Noelia Monreal; board member Pedro Galván, and members of the organizing committee.
The mayoress highlighted the role of Unión Carrizal as an example of unity and commitment for the municipality's youth, inviting citizens to participate in the scheduled events.
Mario Ramírez, club president, stated that the anniversary celebrates a living history that looks to the past with pride and to the future with hope.
Among the planned activities are the roundtable discussion "Football in the Southeast of Gran Canaria" on Tuesday, August 11, and the roundtable discussion "History of Unión Carrizal" along with the institutional event, scheduled for Wednesday, August 12, at 8:00 PM. All events will take place at the club's former football field, next to Avenida Carlos V.
Additionally, the 53rd Juan Guedes Tournament and the 21st Pancho Ramírez Tournament will be held at the Manuel Jiménez Rosales field, in El Toril. Ramírez thanked the Ingenio City Council for their support and the organizing committee for their commitment and involvement.
Pedro Galván, a club board member, emphasized the historical importance of the occasion, underscoring the link between the social and cultural heritage of the southeast of Gran Canaria and football, as well as entities like Unión Carrizal.
The presentation concluded with a group photograph next to the commemorative banner for the 75th anniversary, symbolizing the club's loyalty and roots over three-quarters of a century.
