The program will begin on Friday, October 30, at 5:30 PM, at the Municipal Theater of Tinajo, with the performance of «El conjuro de Malleya» by Tragaluz Teatro. Admission is free until full capacity, and invitations can be collected at the City Council's Culture department.
On Saturday, October 31, at 8:30 PM, the municipal cemetery will host a musical evening dedicated to the memory of those resting there. The program will include Gabriel Fauré's Requiem, Carl Maria von Weber's Requiem, and Georg Friedrich Händel's «Ombra mai fu», along with organ pieces.
Activities will continue on Sunday, November 1, starting at 5:30 PM, in César Manrique Square. The theatrical performance «Finaos siglo XIX» by the company Actúa will be presented, followed by the 'Relato Finaos' and a basket weaving workshop with nuts. The evening will conclude at 7:30 PM with a performance by the parranda Pal Porrón.
The program will close on Monday, November 2, at 8:30 PM, with a musical evening at the old cemetery, next to the church, conceived as a space for remembrance and tribute to those buried there. The repertoire will include Gabriel Fauré's Requiem, Carl Maria von Weber's Requiem, and Georg Friedrich Händel's «Ombra mai fu», along with organ pieces.
The mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, and the Councilor for Culture, Yurena Cubas, invite residents and visitors to participate in this program that combines traditional expressions of 'Los Finaos' with theater and music, reaffirming the municipality's commitment to keeping Canary Island cultural heritage alive.
