Renovation works on the water supply pipe in the El Fraile area of Arona are in their final phase, with the commissioning of a new nearly one-kilometer section reaching the Los Palos golf course area.

The intervention involved installing over three and a half kilometers of 200-millimeter diameter ductile iron piping, replacing the old galvanized iron conduit. These works also included the installation of valves, filters, and meters for pressure regulation and water flow control within the network.
The project, which began in 2025, has replaced the old 150-millimeter galvanized iron pipe, over 50 years old, which suffered frequent breaks. The deterioration of the old conduit caused breakdowns, supply cuts, and pressure issues affecting approximately 10,000 inhabitants in the areas of El Fraile, Estrella del Sur, and zones near the TF-66 and TF-653 roads.
Technical monitoring of the installation will continue to ensure its proper functioning and address any future incidents.
