The initial actions took place during the past night, starting at 10:00 PM. Municipal technicians, accompanied by agents from the Local Police of Arona, carried out these operations to ensure their safety in a nightlife setting where tense situations or potential altercations might occur.
This initiative stems from repeated complaints and reports from residents in the affected areas, particularly concerning issues related to noise, disturbances, and other nuisances linked to certain establishments.
“"The objective is to verify that the activity actually carried out in each establishment corresponds to the one for which it holds a valid permit."
The inspections are particularly focused on bars and nightlife venues, especially those featuring music in the afternoon and evening, to ensure their operations align with authorized activities and that they possess the necessary permits.
As a result of these initial actions, inspection reports have been drawn up. These will undergo the corresponding administrative processing to determine, in each case, the existence of potential irregularities and the appropriate measures according to current regulations.
The Arona council will continue to conduct further inspections and follow-up actions in Playa de Las Américas. These coordinated efforts between municipal technical services and the Local Police aim to ensure regulatory compliance, balancing economic and leisure activities with the residents' right to rest.
