During the summer months, the Arona City Council took advantage of the period of lower educational activity to carry out various maintenance, repair, and conditioning actions in the municipality's educational centers, both in their interior facilities and exterior spaces. The objective is for the centers to face the return to classrooms with adequate facilities for the daily use of students and educational staff.
Special attention has been paid to patios, gardens, sports courts, access points, and common areas. Exterior work included tree and palm pruning, shrub trimming, mowing, and green space maintenance, improving the upkeep of the centers' patios and garden areas.
Furthermore, interventions in masonry, painting, locksmithing, plumbing, and carpentry have been carried out. Repairs and improvements have also been made to pavements, walls, sports courts, fencing, roofs, and drainage systems, elements that require periodic maintenance.
The municipal departments of Education, Works, Environment, and Public Services maintain continuous coordination to address the needs of educational centers. Throughout the course, programmed maintenance actions will continue, and any incidents that arise will be addressed to keep the facilities in good condition.
