An eight-year-old boy sustained moderate injuries after being struck by a vehicle this Saturday on Avenida Barranco de Las Torres, located in the municipality of Adeje, Tenerife.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:15 PM. Following the alert, the Canary Islands Emergency and Security Coordination Center (112) immediately dispatched medical teams to the scene to assist the child.
Personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) arrived at the location. After an initial assessment, medics confirmed the child had sustained moderate polycontusions and transported him via a medicalized ambulance to the Hospital del Sur.
During the operation, medical staff also attended to the driver of the vehicle involved, who declined to be taken to a health center. Meanwhile, officers from the Local Police arrived at the scene to file the corresponding report and investigate the circumstances of the accident.
