A 78-year-old man suffered moderate injuries this Sunday after being struck by a vehicle on the TF-66 road, near kilometer six, in the municipality of Arona, southern Tenerife.

The incident occurred around 09:48 AM, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2. Upon receiving the alert, the necessary emergency services were dispatched to the scene.
Healthcare personnel from the Canary Islands Urgency Service (SUC) attended to the man at the accident site. Initial assessments indicated he had sustained various moderate-level traumas.
After receiving assistance on-site, the injured man was transported by ambulance to the Hospital del Sur de Tenerife for ongoing medical care.
Members of the Guardia Civil were present to manage traffic on the TF-66 and to compile the relevant reports to determine the circumstances of the collision.
