The coach of Tenerife B has confirmed his continuity at the helm of the team for a tenth season, following a successful campaign in which the reserve squad was close to being promoted to Primera RFEF.

The coach of Tenerife B, who has led the team for nine seasons, has announced his renewal for the upcoming campaign. The club has expressed its desire for him to continue, and future meetings will define the details regarding the coaching staff and squad. This will mark his tenth season managing the white-and-blue reserve team.
The recent season for Tenerife B in Segunda Federación has been described as “quite good” by the coach, despite not achieving the goal of promotion to Primera Federación. The team fought until the end, showing great commitment and ambition. The coach attributes the failure to qualify to a “lack of accuracy in the penalty areas”.

"The club counts on me, we have already had some meetings, and now we will discuss coaching staff, squad, and the future."

One of the main objectives of the reserve team is to supply players to the first team, a goal that has been amply met this year. Several players have participated with the first team, which the coach considers an “accelerated process” and “very valuable” in a professional structure.
Regarding emerging talents, the coach mentioned several players who finished the season at a high level. He highlighted the progression of some footballers and the need to find a path for others who, due to age, can no longer continue in the reserve team, either in the first team or through a loan. Although not all will reach professional football, the coach assures that many “will surely be knocking on doors”.
