The CD Tenerife youth team has been eliminated from the Champions Cup after a 3-0 loss to FC Barcelona in the second leg of the quarter-finals held this Thursday.

The blanquiazul side, arriving with an advantage from the first leg, maintained a solid defensive structure during the first half at the Johan Cruyff Stadium. Despite several saves by the visiting goalkeeper, the score remained goalless until halftime.
After the break, the home side managed to break the deadlock in the 52nd minute with a header. A second goal followed shortly after, leveling the tie, while the decisive third goal came in the final moments of the match.
Despite the defeat, the team led by the blanquiazul coaching staff concludes an outstanding season, having secured second place in Group 7 of the División de Honor and reaching the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey.
