The Minister of Education, Vocational Training, Physical Activity, and Sports of the Government of Canarias, Poli Suárez, stated that the distinction awarded by the Royal Household recognizes the work of thousands of individuals over the past century, not a single milestone, but a trajectory built by several generations. He valued the contributions of clubs, athletes, coaches, referees, leaders, volunteers, and families, as well as the management by the federation's president, José Juan Arencibia.
