A man has died from drowning in the town of Güímar, on Tenerife, after being rescued from the sea by several swimmers who alerted to his distress.

The incident occurred last night, when several people at the scene noticed the man was in difficulty in the water. They acted quickly to pull him out of the sea, but unfortunately, he was already in cardiorespiratory arrest.
Bystanders initiated cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers on land upon realizing the affected individual was unresponsive. Despite their intense efforts, they were unable to reverse the situation, and the man passed away.
