The current Miss Universe 2025, Fátima Bosch, representing Mexico, was received at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Hall in an institutional meeting to strengthen cultural ties and promote the city.

The international queen was accompanied by the Queen of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival 2026, Carla Castro, and the Queen of the May Festivities 2026, Elisa García, at the reception held in the capital's consistory.
The welcome was given by the Councilor for Festivities, who highlighted the relevance of these meetings to project Santa Cruz as an open city and a benchmark in culture and traditions. During the visit, the Miss Universe shared her experiences and reflections on her reign and the impact of achieving this prestigious title.

"The importance of these types of meetings is to continue strengthening cultural ties and promoting Santa Cruz as an open city, a benchmark in culture, traditions, and international projection."

In a cordial atmosphere, the councilor and the Miss Universe recalled Ximena Navarrete, Miss Universe 2010, also from Mexico, whom both considered one of their favorites in the history of the pageant. The visit also allowed for an exchange of impressions on Canarian traditions, the emblematic places of Tenerife, and local gastronomy.
As a souvenir of her institutional visit to the capital of Tenerife, the Councilor for Festivities presented Fátima Bosch with traditional Canarian rings on behalf of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Hall. The meeting concluded with a family photograph in the main gallery of the municipal headquarters.
