Motorcyclist injured in collision with car on Tenerife's TF-1 highway

A 48-year-old man has been taken to the University Hospital of the Canaries after sustaining moderate injuries.

A 48-year-old motorcyclist was moderately injured this Monday following a traffic accident on the TF-1 highway, at kilometer 8's northbound on-ramp in La Laguna, Tenerife.

The Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1 1 2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received the alert about the incident at 08:04 AM. The collision involved a car and a motorcycle.
Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) personnel assessed and assisted the motorcyclist, who presented with several moderate traumatisms. He was transported by a SUC medicalized ambulance to the University Hospital of the Canaries.
Civil Guard officers were dispatched to the scene to conduct the necessary proceedings, while road personnel managed the traffic, signaling and clearing the route to restore normal circulation.
