Two injured after vehicle leaves the road on TF-1 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Two people were injured, one moderately and one slightly, after a vehicle veered off the road on the TF-1 highway near Santa Cruz de Tenerife on the night of August 16, 2026.

The Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Safety Coordination Center (CECOES) 112 received the alert at 10:08 PM on August 16, 2026. After classifying the call, the details were transferred to the relevant emergency services.
The Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) dispatched an advanced life support ambulance and a basic life support ambulance. Medical personnel assessed a 20-year-old man who sustained moderate trauma injuries and was transported to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria.
A 21-year-old woman, with minor injuries, was also treated and transported to the same hospital in the basic life support ambulance.
Members of the Tenerife Fire Consortium secured the crashed vehicle at the scene. Guardia Civil officers carried out the necessary proceedings.
