Two people sustained moderate injuries on Wednesday night after a traffic accident on the TF-5, near the municipality of Los Realejos.

A 22-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman were transferred to Hospiten Bellevue University Hospital following the collision of their vehicles at kilometer marker 43 of the northern highway.
The incident occurred around 9:30 PM, involving two vehicles for reasons yet to be determined. Upon receiving the alert, the Emergency and Safety Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2 activated the necessary emergency resources.
The 22-year-old man, with moderate injuries, was assisted by a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) and evacuated to the same hospital as the 70-year-old woman, who also presented a similar condition.
Emergency responders from the Tenerife Fire Consortium, who secured the vehicles, Civil Guard officers for investigations and traffic control, and personnel from the Tenerife Island Council's Road Conservation Service participated in the operation to restore normal road conditions.
