Two Seriously Injured in Car-Motorcycle Collision on TF-1 in Arona

The incident, which occurred early morning on Tenerife's southern highway, required emergency services intervention.

Two individuals sustained serious injuries following a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the TF-1 highway, near the municipality of Arona, in Tenerife, during the early hours of April 30, 2026.

The incident occurred around 03:20 AM, when the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert reporting the event at kilometer 70 of the aforementioned road.
Personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) were dispatched to the scene to assist those affected. A 40-year-old man, the motorcycle driver, presented with several serious traumas and was transported by a medicalized ambulance to the Hospital Universitario de Canarias.
Additionally, a woman who was a passenger on the motorcycle also suffered multiple serious traumas and was evacuated by another medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candelaria.
The Guardia Civil secured the accident area and initiated the corresponding proceedings to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
