ULL's EPSI Celebrates 25 Years of Civil Engineering

The event commemorated the anniversary of Technical Public Works and Civil Engineering studies and awarded diplomas to the XIII Graduating Class.

The Auditorium of the Higher Polytechnic School of Engineering (EPSI) at the University of La Laguna (ULL) hosted the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Technical Public Works and Civil Engineering studies, coinciding with the diploma ceremony for the XIII Civil Engineering Graduating Class.

The event, presided over by the Rector of the University of La Laguna, was attended by the Management Team of the EPSI and the Dean of the College of Technical Public Works and Civil Engineers of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Faculty and alumni from the first Graduating Class of Technical Public Works Engineers (2001-2004) were also present.
During the ceremony, a commemorative video of the milestone was screened. The Professional College recognized the Civil Engineering section with a commemorative plaque.
A tribute was paid to the retired professor Juan Eusebio González Fariñas for his contribution to the development of these studies at ULL, and a heartfelt remembrance was made for professor Juan Ramón Rodríguez Benítez, the first Director of the EPSI.
