The General Directorate of Blood Donation and Hemotherapy of the Canarian Health Service (SCS) will participate on November 7th in the Rainbow Family, a family and solidarity event in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, to facilitate blood donation.

A mobile blood donation unit from the Canarian Health Service (SCS) will be located at the Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Las Mantecas, in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, on November 7th. The operating hours will be from 9:00 AM to 1:45 PM.
This initiative is part of the Rainbow Family, a non-competitive, family-oriented sports and solidarity event organized by the Asociación Pequeño Valiente de Tenerife. The event aims to raise funds for its foundation, which supports children with cancer and their families.
The SCS emphasizes the importance of regular blood donation to maintain adequate reserves and ensure that hospitals have the necessary blood components for patient care. It encourages the public to incorporate donation into their solidarity habits.
In addition to the mobile unit, several fixed donation points are available in Tenerife. In Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the fixed point at Méndez Núñez operates Monday to Friday from 8:15 AM to 8:30 PM. At the San Isidro Health Center (Granadilla de Abona), donations are accepted Monday to Friday from 8:15 AM to 7:30 PM, with reserved parking for donors (phone: 677980518).
