The El Paso City Council has initiated new paving projects on various municipal roads, with an investment exceeding 315,000 euros, funded by the Cabildo Insular de La Palma.
These works, which include Calle Panadero already awarded and the roads of Tacande, El Rincón, and Pino Santiago soon to be awarded, are part of the municipal strategy to progressively improve road infrastructure. The main objective is to ensure road safety, optimize accessibility, and contribute to the general well-being of El Paso citizens.
“
"These interventions respond to planning work and the progressive execution of improvements throughout the municipality, fulfilling the commitment to act comprehensively in all neighborhoods."
The mayor, Eloy Martín, highlighted that these actions are the result of extensive planning and the gradual implementation of improvements across the municipality. He also thanked the Cabildo de La Palma and its president, Sergio Rodríguez, for their support in the development of all the island's municipalities, as well as the work of municipal staff in processing and managing the contracting processes.
In addition to pavement renovation, the projects include the upgrade of essential services such as water supply, telecommunications, public lighting, and improved access to homes and rural properties, thus addressing the needs and demands of the citizenry.
“
"These improvements are fundamental to offering streets and roads in optimal and functional conditions. We appreciate the understanding of the public and are working to minimize the impact on daily life."
The Councillor for Public Works and Services, David González, emphasized the importance of these improvements in providing optimal road conditions. With these actions, El Paso reaffirms its commitment to modernizing its infrastructure and continuously improving municipal services, with a clear vision for the future of the municipality.
