The event, held between 6:30 PM and 11:00 PM, is part of the Santa Ana and Virgen del Carmen Festivities program. The mayor of Candelaria, Mari Brito, positively assessed the day, highlighting the creation of a "safe environment designed for them" where "youth must feel that these festivities are also theirs."
Artists such as Tana Sandoval, DJ Wes, Renzzo, Claudia Rutten, and Javi Plasencia performed on stage, offering urban and electronic music sets in a festive atmosphere specifically designed for the municipality's youth.
Later, starting at 11:30 PM, the same venue hosted a dance with the orchestra Nueva Línea, this time open to the general public, allowing the party to continue for all ages.
The Youth Councilor, Maeva Tendero, emphasized the consolidation of ‘D’Lokos!’ as "an anticipated event for the youth of Candelaria." She stated, "We are committed to an alcohol-free space, with access control and artists who connect with them, because youth leisure can and should be fun and safe at the same time." She also thanked all those who made the night a success.
This activity is part of the Candelaria City Council's ongoing efforts to expand and diversify programming aimed at young audiences.
