The Wind&Waves Festival returns to El Cabezo Beach in El Médano, Granadilla de Abona (Tenerife), from July 31 to August 9, bringing together the world's windsurfing elite.

The iconic El Cabezo Beach will be the epicenter of international windsurfing, hosting for the twelfth time the PWA/WWT Open, Junior, and Masters World Championship, for both female and male categories.
As a significant new addition, this edition will incorporate the Spanish Open Championship, further solidifying Tenerife as a prime venue for practicing and competing in this sport nationally and internationally.
Another major novelty will be the Foil Drive Challenge, an innovative proposal featuring a material exhibition, demonstrations, and a competition weekend, showcasing the latest trends in technology applied to water sports.
The festival will also offer an extensive parallel program designed for all audiences, with a main tent including a commercial area, gastronomic spaces, and a children's area.
The event will be complemented by live music, talks, and various leisure activities, enhancing the unique atmosphere characteristic of this competition and making it an experience that transcends sport.
The event is organized by Blue Light Events and supported by institutions such as the Government of the Canary Islands (brand Islas Canarias Latitud de Vida), the Cabildo de Tenerife (brand Tenerife Despierta Emociones), and the Ayuntamiento de Granadilla de Abona. It also has the sponsorship of brands like Playa Surf CBbC Hotel, Balearia, Veinte 04, Future Fly Boards, and Foil Drive.
