The incident began around 7:00 PM on Friday, when a patrol from the Tacoronte Local Police detected a suspicious vehicle traveling at excessive speed, coming from Valle de Guerra. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver ignored their signals, initiating a reckless escape through the town's streets.
Given the seriousness of the situation and the negligent attitude of the occupants, an emergency operation was activated, requiring the coordinated intervention of three police patrols. After a pursuit through different areas of the city, officers managed to block the vehicle's path and identify its three occupants.
During the inspection, it was confirmed that the vehicle lacked documentation and that the three men had numerous prior records. The situation worsened when the driver was subjected to an alcohol test, yielding a result that tripled the maximum legal limit.
