A renowned actor and musician, who will be featured at the Film Industry Conference of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival on April 23rd and 24th, has shared his insights on culture as a fundamental pillar of his life and profession.

The artist describes his relationship with his profession as “wonderful, loving, and passionate,” though he admits it sometimes brings moments of emotional difficulty. However, he accepts this risk, considering culture the driving force of his existence and firmly believing in its healing power, both for himself and for the audience.
His career spans cinema, television, theater, and music, mediums that, though distinct, he strives to unify. He explains that the tools of one discipline enrich the others, viewing everything as part of the same goal of communication and transcendence. Despite his extensive career, the actor confesses that he is not fully aware of his achievements until reminded, and that success does not bring him security.

"Culture saved my life, and I had to make my own revolution to understand it, because revolution starts within oneself."

The artist argues that true success does not lie in international fame but in daily life and enjoying simple pleasures. He criticizes the superficiality of fame and prefers to remain rooted in his habits and surroundings. Currently, he is involved in filming the movie Furia 2, directed by Félix Sabroso, and plans to participate in another film project in Cantabria with Alfonso Cortés-Cavanillas, in addition to other works scheduled for the summer.
