The driver, at the wheel of a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO-V Proto, demonstrated clear superiority over his direct rivals. He set his best time of the day at 1:52.221, although he did not manage to beat his own record from the previous edition (1:51.666) or the overall track record (1:50.916) he has held since 2024.
Despite not improving his personal bests, Cabral leveraged the power and all-wheel drive of his machine to secure the win. The event, which saw a large crowd, excellent organization by Escudería Aterura, and the appeal of a classic vehicle parade, witnessed Cabral dominate the official and practice runs with commanding times.
Second place went to Juany Jorge, driving a Seat León Supercopa, who finished 9.571 seconds behind the winner with a time of 2:01.792. The third spot on the podium was taken by Ányelo Padrón, returning to competition with a new BMW M-3, clocking in at 2:05.526.
The overall classification also recognized the commendable performance of Aaron Batista, who finished fourth in a modest Mitsubishi Colt (2:09.857). He was followed by David González (Honda Civic) in fifth place (2:10.955) and Iván Armar Jr (BMW M-3 E-30) in sixth (2:11.977). The subsequent positions down to tenth place were fiercely contested, decided by mere thousandths of a second among drivers such as Cristian Acosta (Peugeot 306 GTI), Echedy Cruz (Renault Clio Sport), Alby Martel (EVO-VII), and Daniel Santana (Citroën Saxo VTS).
In the Promotion category of the Federación de Automovilismo de Las Palmas, the victory went to Miguel Gutiérrez driving a Renault Clio Williams, followed by Pedro Perdomo (BMW 325).
